The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Міністерство освіти і науки України) is the main body in the system of central bodies of the executive power. As a student on the Bachelor’s degree programme in education science, your teaching will vary greatly. You have both lectures, where your teacher reviews assigned texts, and classroom instruction, where you and your fellow students discuss the academic syllabus. The classroom teaching also includes project work and presentations, which you typically do together with your study group.

These studies will develop your content knowledge in the subjects you will be teaching in schools or other education settings. Science & Education – Research using historical, philosophical, and sociological approaches in order to improve teaching, learning, and curricula in science and mathematics. The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology is responsible for national policies and programmes that help Kenyans access quality and affordable, school education, post-school, higher education and academic research.

We’ll help to change the culture of professional development in UK schools, through funding science-related professional development for teachers, and using our research to show the benefits of training. Our aim is for all teachers to regularly access professional development, with 100% of secondary schools and 22% of primary schools benefitting from training at the National STEM Learning Centre by 2023.

Score differences between students eligible for free or reduced-price lunch and those who were not persisted within racial or ethnic groups. For example, the gaps between eligible and non-eligible students in grade 4 mathematics were 18 points among white students, 17 points among Hispanic students, and 16 points among black students. Similar gaps held among eighth and twelfth grade students and across all grade levels in science.

Christy Sutton (MEd ’12) was one of only two elementary teachers in Georgia to receive the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching. Enrollment rates also varied widely with parental education, ranging in 2015 from 56% for students whose parents had less than a high school education to 82% for students whose parents had a bachelor’s degree or higher.
