The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (Ukrainian: Міністерство освіти і науки України) is the main body in the system of central bodies of the executive power. The Department’s Race to the Top-District program supports educators in providing students with more personalized learning—in which the pace of and approach to instruction are uniquely tailored to meet students’ individual needs and interests—often supported by innovative technologies. STEM teachers across the country also are receiving resources, support, training, and development through programs like Investing in Innovation (i3), the Teacher Incentive Fund , the Math and Science Partnerships program, Teachers for a Competitive Tomorrow , and the Teacher Quality Partnerships program.
Here at UL, various learner support systems are in place to help those having difficulty with subjects they may not have done for Leaving Cert. Personally, I had never studied Physics at school and found that by dropping into the Science Learning Centre, I was well able to keep up with classmates. College has been THE best time of my life and choosing this course has definitely helped in making it the enjoyable experience it has been.
The IJRES welcomes any research papers on education and science using techniques from and applications in any technical knowledge domain: original theoretical works, literature reviews, research reports, social issues, psychological issues, curricula, learning environments, book reviews, and review articles. The articles should be original, unpublished, and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the time of submission to the IJRES.

Finally, when one looks at science as a process of participation in the culture of scientific practice, attention is drawn to the ways in which children’s individual cultural and social backgrounds can, on one hand, create barriers to science participation and learning due to possible conflicts of cultural norms or practices with those of science, and, on the other hand, provide opportunities for contributions, particularly from students from nonmainstream cultures, that enrich the discourse in the science classroom. Chemistry is the study of chemicals and the elements and their effects and attributes. Students in chemistry learn the periodic table. The branch of science education known as “chemistry must be taught in a relevant context in order to promote full understanding of current sustainability issues.” 12 As this source states chemistry is a very important subject in school as it teaches students to understand issues in the world. As children are interested by the world around them chemistry teachers can attract interest in turn educating the students further. 13 The subject of chemistry is a very practical based subject meaning most of class time is spent working or completing experiments.
