Jotse is an international Journal aiming at publishing interdisciplinary research within the university education framework and it is especially focused on the fields of Technology and Science. Children at the 100 pilot preschools will have access to four play-based ELSA apps, aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework The apps encourage learning beyond the screen through active, child-centred experiences that introduce STEM practices, such as exploring location, patterns and problem solving. Journal of Science Education and Technology -Publishes a broad range of papers covering theory and practice in order to facilitate future efforts of individuals and groups involved in the field.
Performance disparities in mathematics and science begin as early as kindergarten and persist through subsequent school years. The Framework provides a sound, evidence-based foundation for standards by drawing on current scientific researchâ€”including research on the ways students learn science effectivelyâ€”and identifies the science all K-12 students should know.

This strand focuses attention on students’ understanding of science as a way of knowing: the nature of scientific knowledge, the nature of theory and evidence in science, and the sources for, justification of, and certainty of scientific knowledge. It also includes students’ reflection on the status of their own knowledge.
